It’s our home! While each of Boston’s neighborhoods is growing and evolving in its own way, Fort Point is in a league of its own. We’re intimately tied to the more modern and larger Seaport but grounded in an industrial history. Today’s Fort Point boasts options for entertainment, food, and culture for any age and taste. With that, here are (some of) our reasons for loving our home location of Fort Point:
#1 The unique, industrial architecture. The Seaport District is well-known for its rapid rate of growth, modern glass buildings, and a sea of construction cranes. Our corner of the Seaport, however, thrives in renovated mill buildings and brick factories. Our office, for example, enjoys the industrial charm of a repurposed wool mill.
#2 The spectacular views. The Harborwalk in Fort Point offers one of the most beautiful views of the city landscape right on the water. Stroll around Fort Point Channel or Boston Harbor. If you want to stray further, catch a water taxi from several pickup sites.
#3 The restaurants. Other neighborhoods can claim good eats, but the diverse mix of high-quality restaurants is unmatched. No matter what time of day you are in Fort Point if you are looking for something to satisfy your taste buds or your drink needs, there is so many choices you are to come out pleased. Anything from classic American, to classic Japanese sushi, you are covered. While we love going out to lunch here, our favorites after work are the breweries. After all, we are home to both Trillium and Hopsters.
#4 It’s a Cultural Hub of Boston. The Fort Point area is home to numerous museums and galleries, which offer amusement for any age. The history buff can flex their knowledge with exhibits detailing to the revolution, and children and adults alike can see art pieces at numerous galleries that emphasize modern thoughts to vintage designs.
So, when you next come to visit us, stay a while to check out the neighborhood. Fort Point will not let you down! We sometimes take this for granted since we have such an amazing location to call our home.
